Ruderalis Strains Information

Cannabis Ruderalis is one of the principal variants of the Cannabis family. However, some people do consider Cannabis Ruderalis to be one of the subspecies of the Cannabis Sativa strains. The Ruderalis is also known as the feral Cannabis because of the fact that Ruderalis is the result of hemp plants that somehow adapt to the environment. The Cannabis Ruderalis is auto-flowering in nature hence does not depend on light cycle for flowering. Therefore, strains of Cannabis with the Ruderalis gene pool are expected to autoflower.

Some of the strains complete 100% of the flowering straight after germination. However, there are certain strains which have been crossbred with others depend on the light cycle for flowering and do not auto-flower. Some of the Ruderalis strains are also considered to be sweet and also have good medical benefits when compared to others. However, in recent times, some of the strains of Ruderalis have irregular traits mainly due to the crossbreeding with other variants. There have been no consistent auto-flowering strains developed whenever Ruderalis has been cross bred with other variants. Therefore, it is advisable to grow more consistent strains of Ruderalis to have the better effects of the Cannabis.

Some of the variants or strains of Ruderalis are as follows:

Low Ryder is a strain formed from Ruderalis and Northern Lights cross breeding. The flowering in these plants starts just after germination upon exposure to 24h light cycle. Height is normally around 30 to 50 cm and yields 10-15 grams/plant at outdoors.

Four Way Specials is a strain formed from Ruderalis, Indica, Sativa and Skunk breeding. The flowering in these plants starts just after germination upon exposure to 24h light cycle. Height is normally short and yields 350-450grams/plant at outdoors.

Secret Sugar is a strain formed from Ruderalis, Blueberry and Super Skunk. The flowering in these plants starts just after germination upon exposure to 24h light cycle. Flowering takes approximately 53 days andyields 250-350 grams/plant at outdoors.

Low Ryder Mint is a strain formed from Ruderalis and Matanuska cross breeding. The flowering in these plants starts just after germination upon exposure to 24h light cycle. Flowering takes approximately 67 days and yields 30-40 grams/plant at outdoors.

Jamaica Mint is a strain formed from Ruderalis, Skunk and Lambsbread cross breeding. Flowering takes approximately 63 days and yields 30-40 grams/plant at outdoors.
